From Kiwiarena
By playing on any of the games on Kiwiarena, partaking in the Forums, or using the (VoIP) Voice over IP systems, Mumble and Asterisk, we will assume that you have read and understood the Acceptable Use Policy. It is also recommended that you have read and understood your ISP's (Internet Service Provider's) Acceptable Use Policy.
Past experience has shown that frequent and regular users at Kiwiarena are thoughtful and considerate towards other users, promote fair gaming and good sportsmanship, consider other users feelings when (constructively) expressing their own views and opinions, talk kindly amongst one another, and help provide a safe environment for all users.
The aim is to continue to provide an enjoyable, warm, vibrant, and safe gaming and online social environment for all users.
Kiwiarena encourages fair gaming and good sportsmanship.
- We don't tolerate an excessive amount of coarse/foul language on line or through the VoIP channels.
- We understand that players get frustrated from time to time, resulting in a level of coarse language which is tolerated.
- we understand that, by nature of the game, there will be a level of coarse language, which is tolerated.
- We don't tolerate players who are excessively abusive towards other players.
- We understand that abusive behaviour is stemmed from frustration and competitiveness, so a certain amount is tolerated.
- We don't tolerate players who cheat using bots, hacks, cheats, etc.
- We don't tolerate attitude problems, "leave your attitudes at the door and pick them up on the way out".
- We don't tolerate people using other people's names when online.
- Particular attention would be drawn to administrators names as well high performing players names.
- Breaching this may also involve a formal incident response.
A player who is found breaching this will be dealt with by an administrator who is online at the time by either kicking or banning the player. The offending player will be warned beforehand in a case of infringement (abuse and coarse language), and may be warned beforehand in the case of any offense - it's highly recommended taking heed in any warnings given. The actions of the player will be noted along with the recording if the administrator had recorded their behavior.
When a player is kicked or banned by an administrator, the decision made by the administrator is final. Any matters arising from being kicked/banned should be directed to security@kiwiarena.net.nz
